Mr Chris Madden

Chris has worked as a race-wheelchair fabricator for many years, and has designed a number of unique products for use by athletes with different abilities. He has supported disabled children, and managed to encourage them to enjoy their sport. Chris himself conquered incredible adversity. At 19 he broke his back, yet went on to become an extremely talented hand cyclist. He is an avid advocate of the importance of sport for all. Chris brings a range of skills to the team and provides insight into what is possible when people believe in themselves.

He is a talented athlete, who travels internationally to compete as a hand cyclist. His latest challenge is building an off-road hand cycle which will enable him to start mountain biking.
